Each group has its own unique focus and is run over the course of 8 sessions. A facilitator guides the group in building their social engagement, confidence, and helps each young person to better engage and interact in their chosen area of interest. These groups are a testament to the innovation and creativity not just of the participants we support, but also for the staff who create them. Each program is developed, structured, and delivered by RYSS staff, in response to the identified needs of the young people they are supporting. We encourage this opportunity with staff, as it allows for a responsive, creative and agile approach to ensuring RYSS programs are relevant and in context with the current needs of children and young people.
